Author's note: this confession is entirely the reason this came about, though this helped. Contains light Scout abuse of the 'you look so good with bloody knuckles, I'll kiss them as I bandage you up' variety.

I couldn't find a source for when instant mac and cheese was invented, but instant noodles date back to the 1950s. Wetsuits date back to 1952, while The Twilight Zone hearkens back to 1959.

This particular fic's inception dates back to early 2013, so it has jack all to do with current timelines and canon reveals for obvious reasons.
