Title: The Writing On The Wall
Series: Sukisyo
Character/Pairing: Kai/Gaku.
Rating: G-ish? It’s about as G-ish as KaiGaku can get, really
Summary: Of Gaku’s misadventures involving the cooking of chocolate. Episode six based. Nagase Kai/Gaku
Word count: 1,514
A/N: . I found this while sifting through my draft pile and figured it was finally time to finish it.
Anime canon (for once, gasp) There was no Kai+Gaku scenes in episode six and thus I figured that tragic and needing to be fixed. I think his characterization here owes a lot to the dramas/games/etc. where he was REALLY bouncing off the walls energetic. (His KAIII RAAABUUUU moments were adorable and hilarious.) He was a bit calmer in the anime, but still retained the well, Gakuness. I can’t remember if the anime addressed this, but because they’re BFF, Hano calls Gaku ‘Manabu-chan’ (it’s a different reading of the kanji ‘Gaku’ which means academy; learning for the curious) and Gaku calls him by his first name, Yoshihiro.

The original draft was circa 06.

I meant to write out some other old draft and somehow I finished the cynical angsty piece first. Go figure. Old fandom, go! I never really leave fandoms, I just wander out a bit.

Title: A Single Grain Of Rice
Series: Sukisyo
Character/Pairing: Nagase Kai/Gaku
Summary: A single grain of rice can tip the scales. Nagase knows this. Nagase Kai/Gaku
Word count: 1,288
Rating: PG, I guess.
A/N: found in my drafts, circa February 06. It was intended for the February 31_days theme “pick up my love with chopsticks” but never got finished then. This is more based upon game/drama/novel canon than anime, though should be perfectly comparable if you’ve only seen the anime version. (And it’s also why I’m using Kai, as Gaku starts to call him by his first name soon enough) Before you mention characterization, take that to mind, please~ There’s a note on the end where I’ll elaborate where I’m coming from.

He knows this. A single particle, a single meaningless fragment can wear away a plan until it is nothing. One ion is all it takes. The one that is his undoing is far more explosive and kinetic than most, that ion also brings one hell of a dinner bill. )

Title: just a series of blurs, like I never occurred.
Day/Theme: May 21st / I chose to do wrong in the hope that right might come
Series: Sukisyo
Character/Pairing: Kai/Gaku ♥♥♥
Rating: PG

A/N: Goes on drama canon, pretty much :D Spoilers for White Flower. The title is from “Someday You Will Be Loved” by Death Cab For Cutie. Written with the weekly challenge theme “I am only practicing the art of saying goodbye”

There is a trace of human negligence in every experiment. He vaguely wonders what will be the downfall of this one. )

...I'm going all 31. Dear god I am insane. So anyways, getting a head start because I have longer pieces I need to focus on too ~ with luck I'll finish The Queen of Charades, (which is progressing nicely.) along with other things. There is more Yami no Matsuei than anything else this month. But a fair amount of XXXholic (one gen with a side of Clow/Yuuko, one Clow/Yuuko and one Watanuki v Doumeki XD I can't wait to finish that one. Oh Watanuki) and there is KuroFai and ABS. And crack. (Kurogane and Fai make Tsuzuki and Hisoka look NORMAL. Poor Tatsumi is twitching already.)

ANYWAYS. Onwards!

Title: passing the scenery by

Inspired by gratuitous listening to Passenger Seat, Death Cab For Cutie.

the darkest country road and the strong scent of evergreen from the passenger seat as you are driving me home )

Title: the aftereffects of irony
Day/Theme: May 3rd / about as useful as the ability to regurgitate whole lobsters
Series: Yami no Matusei
Character/Pairing: Tsuzuki, Hisoka
Rating: PG
Summary: The irony of the situation is almost amusing.
A/N: just some fun with differences.

together they're whole. )

Title: pages
Day/Theme: May 5th / What do you think is the moral of the story?
Series: Loveless
Character/Pairing: Ritsuka, Seimei
Rating: G
A/N: also, [livejournal.com profile] seii_ryu’s request of Ritsuka/Seimei

'I can’t sleep.' Ritsuka says, breaking the silence. )

So 3/31 ~ Next up should be some gen Tsuzuki and Ruka, then some more Tsuzuki, and then, some TsuHis. ...Did I mention that there's going to be a large amount of Yami no Matsuei? :D *pokes Rachel*
