Description: Heroines Fest is a fest designed to produce more fanworks featuring female characters from comics and related comic book tie-ins, such as cartoons, television shows, and movies. Acceptable fanworks for the fest include fanfic, fanart and vids. Fic should be at least 800 words and fanart and vids should be of comparable length and effort.

August 27: Prompting starts
September 10: Prompting closes
September 12: Claiming Begins
September 26: Claiming Ends
Ocober 3: Posting Begins
