Umeda sometimes can feel his IQ slipping with each stupid act of love that Akiha lays at his feet. (of course, a bit of his resolve to not like this slips as well, but he doesn’t admit to that) Perhaps the only comfort is that pet names never appealed to Akiha, because he really might have to throw him out the nearest window if Akiha ever started calling him “honeybear” or any other equally disturbing name. (The mere thought makes him shudder and reach for his trusty pack of cigarettes)

At this point, Umeda’s running out of insults to call him. ‘Idiot’ is solid, but a bit overused, ‘moron’ has promise, but lacks the punch. “Dumbass” is a bit too juvenile for his tastes, ‘useless’ fits well, but lacks a certain ring.

So he figures he’ll just have to use his name until he figures out a better insult. Sadly, Akiha is only too overjoyed at this prospect, and Umeda knows he’ll have to hear “I’m so glad, senpai~” for the next fifty years every single morning.

Umeda grimaces. He better think fast of a better insult fast or one day he might start to like this.

Aahhh... love is just a complicated thing. XDD this is a cute story. I could see Umeda giving up, but not just yet, and letting Akiha be romantic with him or something along those lines. XDD It would be interesting.
