Title: postcards from home
Day/Theme: August 25th: / May the morning clouds refresh you at this distance,
and may abundant rains comfort you forever!
Series: hanakimi
Character/Pairing: akiha/umeda
Rating: at least in the PG-13 region

When they arrive on his doorstep, always seeming to radiate cheerfulness, he almost slams the door and leaves them to the elements. (Except that he always returns and gathers them)

Sometimes parcels full of photographs come, as if he would care about every facet of Akiha’s life. (Nonetheless, he always carefully sets them on the hotel desk and looks through them later.)

Letters come full of Akiha’s chatter, idleness and every single thing which he saw fit to stuff into the letter filled with poor penmanship, hearts, and smilies all over. (Even though if asked he could probably recite it almost word for word – not that he ever would. If asked how many times he read it, he would lie and say “zero”)

And of course he has no time to write back, or phone (Except for a postcard sent – out of annoyance. The return phonecall was just to stop Akiha from calling every five minutes like a damn moron.)

When he leaves early, it is because of the local climate not agreeing with him – and certainly not because there’s someone waiting at home.
