If FEH doesn't give me Bridal Sayriki I will just have to do it myself!!!
Quite a few lines were taken directly from Bridal Tiki unit.
The Bridal festival was in full bloom. Women from many lands had donned on their white, feathery dresses to get the grand prize: the bouquet.
Of course, Anna (multiple Annas, naturally), had almost immediately started selling bouquets, and other trinkets and foods. One had a white sheath of a bridal gown on, but many others weren't dressed for the event.
She'd dubbed them Big Tiki and Little Tiki, and she rather liked this. To steal glances at what she would become in the future. And to see Mar-Mar. And to have snacks.
Really, that was the best kind of day Little Tiki could imagine.
"Ooh, that vendor smells delicious," Little Tiki said.
Her heart hadn't been this light in a long time. Mar-Mar had dressed up and come, along with Caeda who looked so lovely beside him. She'd run into Xane, who hadn't dressed up, but had come for snacks. And she even saw Catria alongside her new friend, Thea.
But, with all the other brides at this festival with all their pretty, fluffy white dresses, Tiki
"I can't see very well, though..."
Little Tiki clutched her hands to ball them to fists, and tried to go on tiiiiptoooe. Only to not even be able to see a bit.
"If you're Big Tiki, then I'm Small Tiki. And if I sit on your shoulders, we'll become Extra-Big Double Tiki! Hehe!"
Big Tiki lifted her up, effortlessly and Little Tiki could see it all for a moment. The bridal competition, Mar-Mar speaking to Robin, both dressed in white suits. The many, many vendors, and so many pretty stalls, all full of yummy food.
She was up so high and tall, and Big Tiki was so strong. Little Tiki laughed, happy and safe in that moment in Big Tiki's arms.
Big Tiki set her down for a moment, and Little Tiki instantly clutched tight to Big Tiki's hand. Even if Little Tiki had to take long naps and be a good girl, she got to grow up and be really pretty. And she got to see Mar-Mar again.
"I hope I get to be a bride one day too. Like everyone else at the festival! And that I'm as pretty as you are right now," Little Tiki said.
"One day you might," Big Tiki said.
"Who do you want to marry, Big Tiki? Whisper it in my ear and I won't tell anyone!"
"Er, marry...?"
Big Tiki's cheeks reddened, and she hid them behind her bouquet--not the grand one, but her own dragonstone and the surrounding roses.
"Hehe... You're blushing!"
"You see, the truth is..."
"Is it Mar-Mar? Do you become queen of the land? Are your friends there with you forever?"
Sadness came across Big Tiki's gentle face.
"Little Tiki," she said softly. "You see..."
From behind them, a soft, firm voice spoke.
"My lady, there you are. I lost you in the crowd for a moment, and I worried."
Big Tiki's face softened immediately.
"Say'ri, there you are."
Say'ri looked from one Tiki to the other curiously.
"That is--Tiki do you have a future child as well? Like Lucina?"
Big Tiki laughed softly. "No, this is me from the past."
"I'm Little Tiki and she's Big Tiki. And one day I hope I'll be as pretty and graceful as her."
"Your past self then? Not the future? For a moment, I thought you might have a daughter from another time."
"Though it would not be impossible, how that would happen, I could not say," Big Tiki said.
"Maribelle and Lissa had two sons together, it could happen," Say'ri said.
"No, she is just myself. Though, it feels like having a little sister," Big Tiki said.
A sister. She liked that. Little Tiki couldn't help but giggle at the thought of herself being her own sister. Herself leading the way and holding her hand, comforting her nightmares, and drying her tears. Herself hugging her and making sure that Tiki, big or little, was never alone again.
"Say'ri, this is me from the past. Little Tiki, this is Say'ri."
"I am Little Tiki," Little Tiki said. Proclaimed, more like, in a wide arc, like she was going to throw the bouquet or make a grand statement.
"I am pleased to meet you, Lady Little Tiki," Say'ri said. She bowed.
"I will gladly extend my blade to protect you as well. I should hope to protect my lady in all eras, and all times, of course," Say'ri said.
Say'ri had joined in on the festivities too, with a truly unique looking dress that mixed Chon'sin culture as well. The skirt of the dress resembled a cherry blossom. She held a simple but regal bridal bouquet of long cherry blossoms as well.
"Ohhhh, you have a knight. That's so romantic," Little Tiki exclaimed.
"It is, quite," Big Tiki said. "And you look so lovely today, Say'ri."
"It was not quite so grand, that day. For Chon'sin was in ruins after the war. But, we took the day off from rebuilding."
"Oh, there was a festival? Tell me more!" Little Tiki said. She was so excited at the thought of a Chon'sin festival, that she went on tip-toe in her little shoes.
Big Tiki and Say'ri shared a glance.
"Lady Little Tiki--"
"You see--"
"Oh, it must be a big and special festival if you both are so tongue tied. Did you have pretty dresses on?"
Say'ri smiled fondly at the memory. "Tiki was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. The cherry blossoms fell in her hair, and she walked down those streets broken by war. It was like the coming of spring once again," Say'ri said.
"I wore only the clothes I had, for there was hardly time to find a tailor, with so much devastation from the war," Big Tiki said.
"Big Tiki, your knight is awful nice and fond of you. I hope I'm lucky enough to get such a nice and strong knight, too."
Big Tiki smiled gently. "Oh yes, she is very much so."
She shared a smile with Say'ri, secret. Little Tiki didn't understand all these looks, and the way they were so close they could speak without even saying a word.
"The truth is--I am already married. This festival is lovely, and it is nice to finally wear this bridal gown, for when I married, there was no time for such things," Big Tiki said.
"You're married, Big Tiki? why didn't you tell me? Wait, did you marry Mar-Mar?"
"No, Little Tiki. He marries Caeda and they have a long, happy life together. She is a wonderful queen."
"Oh," Little Tiki said, with slight disappointment in her voice.
"Then, was it Robin? You seem close," Little Tiki said.
"No, Little Tiki. He's someone else's other half, and married his beloved," Big Tiki said. "But we are good friends."
"Then who could it be? Is your husband here today, or is he busy?"
Little Tiki tried very much to crane her neck and look and see if Big Tiki's mysterious husband might be here. In such a big place as Askr, he could be anywhere.
"My bride is before you, Little Tiki."
She gestured towards Say'ri.
"Bride?"
"And the wedding dress suits you, Say'ri," Big Tiki said.
Big Tiki smiled so gently and fondly towards her knight--and her wife.
"Ohhhh! Big Tiki marries her loyal knight. That's so romantic! I wonder if I'll marry a loyal knight as well."
That was even more romantic than marrying someone like Mar-Mar. Besides, Caeda was like her big sister. If Little Tiki married Mar-Mar when she grew up, then Caeda would be sad and Tiki hated making anyone sad.
She set aside the daydreams of marrying Mar-Mar like and old well-worn toy. Marrying a loyal knight was much more romantic.
"Just because I am a you in the future, there's no telling if you will follow my future. For there are many in Askr who have come from different worlds and taken different paths. But, I know one thing for sure. You will be loved, and you won't be alone. I'll make sure of it."
Big Tiki held tight to Little Tiki's hand and smiled.
"Now, I think we should go see some of those food vendors you were spying earlier," Big Tiki said.
"Let me escort and protect you both. It would be my honor," Say'ri said.
"In the last battle, I was the one protecting you, my love," Big Tiki said.
Little Tiki giggled. "I can become a big dragon too!"
"That you can," Say'ri said.
Say'ri took one of Little Tiki's hands, and Big Tiki took the other. And they all went off towards the wonderful smell of delicious treats.
Little Tiki liked this land of Askr. She got to go to many festivals, and go play with Mar Mar all the time. She didn't have to sleep all the time and even got to go to festivals with her mama.
And most of all, she was never, ever alone.
