Ninja suits tend to be skin tight, so if he looked scrawny, he probably really is. But of course, fanboy/fangirl artists' interpretations of characters oft add extra things. This would be why you see Dark Magician Girl or Tea, sporting breasts twice as large as they really have in the show ^^;
