bonnefoisyolo'd to finally get Pokemon Sword (and only Sword; Shield wasn't available) because it was part of a 2 for 1 deal (The 2 being New Pokemon Snap) only to check after the fact and find almost all the pokemon I wanted in this gen were in Shield. Oops! That's what I get for not looking.
At least ThunderCorgi is available for me. That was basically my whole reason for getting the game.
Trading is an option but ehh. Surprise Trades (Wonder Trades) are locked to Switch Online now, and so are online trades and I don't know anyone IRL who would trade with me. I don't want to buy Switch Online just to get some mons. It'd be cheaper and easier just to get the copy I wanted.
Man, if I'd known I would've gotten Hyrule: Age of Calamity instead.
I may just sell this copy and get Shield instead. Or turn it in for store credit.
On aside, TBH I may end up getting both copies of Scarlet/Violet because I can't choose.
Edit: As an adult with Monies I gotta say that I am way more irritated at the split pokemon games than I was as a child.
