I just made a big FEH oof.
Somehow I missed the memo that when upgrading units to gold, you lose all merges.
So guess who built up an Y!Innes today and accidentally wasted a ton of grails not realizing this?
Or, even worse: guess who has spent the entirety of the game keeping 4 stars at 4 stars to save on feathers figuring I'll merge them once they hit +10?
I just hit +10 with Ilyana and Lex and would like to use my Reinhardt, but now I have to choose between keeping them silver or keeping their merges. Same with Leon and Soren who I also built and was about to promote.
The only saving grace is that I don't really use these units much because powercreep is so hardcore that I'm forced to cling to my strongest lucky 5 star drops.
