Now that I've actually played some of the new update...



Ms. Youtuber Eyeshadow lady could not have Main Villain written all over her if she tried. Seeing Veronica so happy to see her and calling her Sissy hurts.

Also, back to book 5: looking at some Otr lines from having him as a unit really contextualizes his actions in book 5. I free summoned him (and love him as a unit, he's so OP and takes out so many pain in the butt units) so it makes me kind of like him more in retrospect.

When I first saw him it was like "lmao, your brocon kink AGAIN FEH?" but lines from his info screen like "Fafnir, Brother...don't leave me" actually were tugging on the heart strings when you consider that his parents got killed in front of him during the coup as a child and for a long time Fafnir was all he had to protect him.

His whole arc is just trying not to lose his brother and turning to the dark side of clinging onto his brother whatever it took, because he can't let go.

I thought the same thing, but Maria suggested Letitzia might also be somewhere between legit and the villain for Reasons. Like one of those classic FE villains who's evil but has actual affection for someone. So we'll have to see. At this point all we have is speculation.
