The Konna and Tennouji part was just adorable,

And oh my god. Kojou calling Tennouji “Megumi-chan”? Nakajao-sensei, you are brilliant

Also, Nanba and Hanajima had lots of time together in that volume ♥

A/N:
This is for Becky, she was really, really, really sweet and said she’d burn manga for me as a back up ♥ I think it’s vaguely her fault that I keep seeing AkiUme in lyrics. The title is from “Earth Angel” by Death Cab For Cutie which is apparently a very old recording. It’s on the AkiUme FST, too :D

Uh, the characterization is softer by intention. Because time softens everything.



Akiha brings home flowers. Cradled in a makeshift vase in the sink, all different colors. Umeda takes the redeye flight in, when he comes in and washes his hands of the day’s issues there’s the scent of flowers, The TV too loud, Akiha curled up on the couch. Obviously the idiot had tried to stay up to greet him, but fallen asleep sometime along the way. Muttering a curse, Umeda turns off the TV and lights. (The only reason he brings out a blanket and covers Akiha is because if he woke up from cold neither would get any damn sleep. Three years has taught him that Akiha hates the cold and would probably move to the equator if he could, but only if Umeda was there)

There’s thousands of little notes that Umeda hasn’t gotten around to throwing away, meet me for dinner, 9 sharp at the usual place, all decorated in ridiculous hearts and flowers and even the occasional stick-figures holding hands. There’s letters that appear on his doorstep everytime he leaves the apartment for business reasons, childish, they sound more like something a four-year-old would write. Umeda replies anyways.

Three years and the Umeda family has practically adopted Akiha. Umeda doesn’t correct them as much anymore. He doesn’t bristle every time someone calls Akiha “his boyfriend” as much anymore.

In truth, he doesn’t mind as much anymore. Time has accustomed him to all Akiha’s idiosyncracies, (the idiocy, how his fingers fit around Umeda just so, all the little tokens of affection sprinkled about)

Three years and he still maintains that they aren’t in love, but not as vehemently as he used to.

*sigh* I can't think of anything for today's theme ~_~ I'll just do an extra theme on the end of the month.

I'm something of a fandom-hopper XD

Hanakimi is one of my older loves - the later volumes weren't as interesting for me. It was somewhere well after the cross-dressing ball... 19, maybe? Don't quote me on that XP

But yes, AkiUme is adorable. Can't wait for more from you ♥ And maybe some xxxholic too, if I'm good? *puppy eyes*

Ah... Whatever I happen to be watching/reading, really. But Tenipuri is my one constant. So many scenarios, so little time XD

I'm currently obsessed with Naruto and Meine Liebe. Bleach and Holic too, but I'm hesitant to write for those ^_^;
