Fandom_stocking dates and rules have been posted, (boo, they won't open until Dec first) and Challenge week at fic_promptly have begun.

I've been wondering about fandom_stocking for a bit now - is it just a free-for-all where you can go fill any requests that look interesting?

It's pretty flexible. You can just fill, you can put up a stocking when the time comes and fill. Whatever floats your boat.

Also there's plenty of ways to fill. People don't just ask for fic, but things like recs, recipes, fanmixes, graphics etc.
