Anyways, a few nice points:

-I got the last of my Christmas shopping done, more or less. I mean I may still have one or two things from the Steam sale, but that'd just be for online people. I had gotten the majority of it done around February, but I was having a hell of a time getting things for my grandma, dad and mom.

BTW, this is a good time to opt in for wintery gifts! I used to try and get everyone done. If we talk a lot, I probably already had you on there. Obviously Carrie, Dove (books) and Sarajaye are already on my list, though if anyone else wants to exchange things, go for it. (I tried to get Samu something on Steam once, and there wasn't anything I could find that he didn't already have! Would you just prefer some f/f?)

-Good thing I cleared out so much room on my bookcase, considering I bought quite a few books. And most of these, save the Hayes and Grimsley, which are LGBT, will be kept.

and the aforementioned "how to write a romance novel." I think I generally have a good handle on writing romance, but I've been running into structural issues when trying to do novel sized work, so I was hoping to find something to help me figure out what I keep tripping up on. In fact, the only Howdunit series I don't order is one which seems to
just be a retread of the earlier works, so I skipped it.
I got outbid on all the video games I tried to get (Zero Time Dilemma, Azran Legacy) so I just decided to be a responsible adult(tm) and buy more research books instead.

I wanted to go hard for two weeks, but it looks like I'm just going to get one. Annoying. Oh well, I guess I'll have to split my 14 in 14 into two weeks, or up it to 14 in 7.

I will probably be very scarce for a while. I have two big deadlines coming up fic wise.
