WAit, it's the Final Fantasy Gaidan one? Which was already remade wonderfully in Sword of Mana with the extraneous FF callbacks taken out?

Nope, don't care.

C'mon, Square! You could've remade Seiken Densetsu 3 or Seiken Densetsu 2!

Funny how they slid that announcement past their hare-brained decision to have the FF7 remake be an episodic action-RPG.

After watching Alphaomegasin's deconstruction of it, I think they could do interesting things with the premise. Apparently the Action/RPG aspect isn't quite so? I think it means they have a battle system more like 12, not say like a Tales of Game.

They're talking about not just doing a HD remake, but expanding and fleshing out parts of the universe. It's an interesting idea, though how well it'll turn out, only time will show.
