bonnefoisI just tuned in for Naruto Gaiden for the hell of it, and now here I am in a puddle of feelings.
I’m really happy that Karin and Sakura are friends (probably?) despite it all, and that Karin supports Sarada. Speaking of whom, I grew super attached to this little girl! I was indifferent to the Boruto movie when I first heard, but now I’m actually pretty interested in seeing it.
Naruto is an odd fandom for me because I was into it heavily wayyy back when I was very young, so I have this distance from the wank, but I also am actually happy with a lot of the ending we got. Mostly there’s just this weird nostalgia with the fast I shipped NaruHina when I was a teeny fan (along with NejiNaru, I pretty much Ot3ed them) Or just a major surprise that the series is done--even with epilogues going on. And considering that Orochimaru is back, I’m thinking that this isn’t the last we’ve seen of the universe by a longshot.
I’ve been thinking about going through the entire series again, as i feel behind a while back, and with so little going on this summer, I probably will.
