Shhh.
It was the act of finger to lip placed at a precise level to cut off the feeling of sound meeting ear.
She hunched down, ceased the non-existent flow of words from her mouth, pressed deep into her shell.
(It had been, not her who had made the noise. Had this been her original teacher, then she would’ve never been suspected, but that teacher was out with a sickness, a vile bug which left him incapacitated for the moment)
She was just a weird girl in a class full of normal fourteen year olds who spent their time thinking about monotony and numerical pages, of first dates, crushes, loves, girlish feelings, flowery things which left them breathless.
She was just the odd girl out who’s world collapsed and reformatted itself daily, the girl who saw dead classmates who told her to come on over, the weather is fine and the girl who wondered if she was even real or just a figment of everyone’s imagination.
