So, in part one, I talked about Helen’s and Miss Pauling’s motivations. Multiversecafe was begging me to talk about where the comic would go. So have where we left off, and where it may possibly go.
In the last page of Blood In The Water, TF2 Classic sounds like they may attempt at taking the group prisoner to interrogate them, or at the very least, they’re going to try and get some answers in at gunpoint. With no other means to escape, the mercenaries may have to surrender temporarily or drown.
Administrator’s last words to Miss Pauling were: “If you do run into the other team, take the Australium and run.”
Also noteworthy that when Miss Pauling talked about Engineer and Medic being missing, We now know that Engineer was under Administrator’s employ all along. Medic could very well be a double agent working for Administrator.
Scout and Heavy have joined up with Saxton Hale and Mags. Remember, Saxton Hale is now working for Charles Darling to get Mann co. back, though he’s claiming to work for Helen. Heavy is claiming to work for Helen, while working for Miss Pauling.
Both are claiming to find “the men who took the Australium.” However, these men are likely the Admin’s own.
And then, there’s Charles Darling.
His stated motives are to have Australium to preserve animals in their misery, but he knows an awful lot about what is happening, and may have much more in stake.
What else in play for the next episodes?
The question of Scout’s father has come into play.
Had it been merely mentioned in one scene, it might be dismissed as Valve making another in-joke towards the fandom. However, these came up directly after it was established Scout repeatedly goes to Spy for help. Those things together make it less likely to be a fluke or Valve teasing the fandom.
There may be a new Administrator before the series is over.
There’s a wedding, and just maybe, a baby
And a little plot which has been around since Meet The Director.
With so much in play, it’ll take quite a lot to finish all these plots up in just two parts. However, if anyone can do it, it’s Valve.
