fandoms: Castle, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Fire Emblem: Tellius, How I Met Your Mother,
Big Bang Theory, Community, Naruto, Rizzoli & Isles, Hetalia and White Collar
Battleship and Bros by ChokolatteJedi
A short, happy and playful piece which left me feeling nostalgic and loving the pair more than ever. Quite IC and a great depiction of them how they could have been, had things gone differently in canon.
Murder, Mystery And The Game Of Clue? by ausiewanab (Castle)
A delightfully in-character piece that feels like the perfect missing scene. Great sense of character voice, and little details like talking about Stephanie Plum books really make this fic for me.
Simultaneous Exhibition by tattedmariposa (Fire Emblem 9/10, Ike/Soren)
This will always remain one of the most memorable and favorite fics of this pairing. The intimacy, the challenge between them, and some of the finest characterization and prose in this whole pairing.
Attack its Weak Point for Maximum Damage by terajk (Avatar: The Last Airbender, gen)
A well-characterized piece that fits perfectly into canon as a missing scene, complete with great dialogue and attention to detail.
Game Night (Big Bang Theory, gen)
This captures everything I like about Sheldon and Penny's friendship, a certain prickly caring between the two of them, Sheldon's bluntness towards her, as well as Penny standing up for her own rights.
Beginner's Game Theory by palgrave
Perfectly captures the madcap nature of the series, with great attention to dialogue and humor. Community is a hard series to get in fic, but this one does it very well.
Family Game Night by waywardmuse
A pitch perfect piece of family fluff. It kept me smiling the whole time, with great attention to dialogue and dynamic.
Game Night by Teaotter
A delightful witty little piece. Mozzie's voice is hard to get, yet this piece worked it very well.
Chess by anamatics
The perfect romantic coda to Gone Daddy Gone, with delicious hurt/comfort and great characterization for all characters involved. I really loved the Maura voice in particular, and the sex was especially well written.
Chess by amuk
An interesting, sparse little piece with an interesting dynamic and pair. I liked how they connected, and I think I've come out appreciating the pair a lot more after reading this.
