Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what
you'd predicted? A little less than last year, but I wasn't as ill so I actually was idk, doing more
than sitting at the keyboard and waiting for the ick to pass.
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?:
I did some really big WIPs, I did more original, but not as much as I wanted... I think I did take a
lot of risks, with plot, going out of my comfort zone, etc. Also, this year I learned how to
research.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2010?

Do you have any fanfic or prolific goals for the New Year? Finish, post, etc.
The general things. Finish WIPS, post new WIPS, beat my favorites into the ground some more. I
want to do some more original. That's one big regret, that I didn't do as much original as I
wanted.
I had three requests for updates yesterday alone, so I think January is going to be a month of

Most fun story:
The Cat's Meow was a lot of fun, as was WOTS, and oh man, finishing up The Rope To The
Ivory Tower was a blast! Also the Glee Au (Teenage Dream) is ton of fun too.
Most sexy story: (shouldn't that be ‘sexiest?'): dude, with all the time I spent chilling at the kink
meme, it's hard to say. Maybe WOTS? It has the most overall sex.
Story with single sexiest moment:
Probably WOTS, with about anytime Francis opens his mouth. Actually about any Franada one might have theses, as Francis is a ~sexy bastard.

myself.
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
actually I can't think of anything I did this year that was like that...I did a lot of sexytimes, but
they were all very consensual. I suppose the colonial porn I did could squick some, but I daresay
that age differences wouldn't have been an issue in the times. Neither would being the guardian,
for that matter.
Fic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters:
I'd say a lot of them did, actually. Frost Fair made Ashnard actually come up, and I may be having too much fun with them being a dysfunctional family, ok. Almedha has her evil knitting and monthly moments of being committed (and she probably screams out things like YOU PROMISED ME WE'D BE LIKE BATMAN AND HARLEY!11) meanwhile Ashnard tries to spend some bonding time with the kinds. He teaches them how to properly break fingers! NOW MISTER CUSTODIAN, YOU AREN'T GOING TO BE LATE NOW, ARE YOU?
Oh and Chaos Theory gave me my general Prussia characterization and made me like Prussia/Hungary
(even if I'd shipped the Frying Pangle by then)
Biggest disappointment:
My slashfest fics made me :| a lot. Except for Happily Retconned After, which I liked. Oh and I still cringe at the one time I tried Mpreg. It was requested, ok! Also it wasn't just random and had ~magical reasons~ going on.
Biggest surprise:
Hardest story to write: STILL THE TANGLED SEA. It hit both years, damn. Actually I still haven't officially posted it because the fucker needs to be edited, but despite actually liking it, I can't actually bear to sit down and do it.
Easiest story to write:
I had plenty of easy ones. In fact, for a while there, I'd take all weekend to finish fics and write from morning until late at night. I think one day I actually managed to do five fics. It was really awesome, yeah.
