Yeah, Miyazaki films allow some more freedom with style. I used to write like this all the time back in mid-05, but eventually I started to go past it in favor of longer more coherent pieces. Sometimes I feel like returning to this style. It's a very easy style to write and I find a certain aesthetic pleasure in doing it.
Oh, really? I didn't have a name sheet handy so I half thought it would sound like an amateur Japanese mistake.
Someone on FF.net said she'd turned into a Stepford Wife XD I think this is part because the plot of the piece (or the binding part) is her marriage to Haku. Maybe if it showed a larger scope with her supporting her family via working or playing softball as a hobby or something it would've seemed less traditional. But as the brunt of the piece is waiting or talking with other traditional wives...yeah xD I maintain that most traditional Japanese wives don't go to the spirit world to asplode buildings!
