Skrimir comes in RD~ He's the heir of the Beast King, a Lion Laguz who starts out being mostly HULK SMASH type of guy who doesn't think too much. After he gets his ass handed to him (either by Zelgius or The Black Knight, can't remember which considering) he starts to actually start thinking things through and grows. Ranulf works under him and is very SIGH about Skrimir's HULK SMASH-ness. At one point Soren does a Brilliant Tactical Plan and Skrimir is so impressed he's like "Little tactician! Come sit by me!" and Soren is all. "....not even if you begged me." *goes and sits by Ike*

It's fun to turn him into a besotted pining lionman =D
