I think Zelgius must've been rather young. He probbly wouldn't need training if he was say -- 30 at the time. Plus, he wouldn't be saying that his brandedness was about to make his age show. Soo--.
I've always thought Zelgius was in his mid-teen (Ike's age, probably) when he was under Gawain.
another sticky thing is was this pre or post Serenes? Did he know Sephiran before Sephiran decided to asplode the world? Does he know that Sephiran is actually Lehran? SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS ARGH.
I've always wondered how Zelgius pulls it off. Doesn't members or his army notice him going off for days at a time? Maybe Levail is covering for him, that boy certainly had a crush on him.
That would make an interesting AU. I'm already trying to resist an Angus Dei!AU because even if the robes would be fitting, just.. dude. Even that'd be pushing it for me.
