Had in mind the song "Poison and Wine" by the Civil wars, though it's not the vibe of the fic at all.

Trigger warning, since I can't find the proper tags for it: there are a lot of thoughts about death. It's not Suicidal ideation, it's "My very existence pisses off the Prince of Granvalle, and I'm probably going to be executed soon" type of thoughts.

Also contains canon typical Jugdral awfulness (mentions of Loptous cult doings, and the Augustrian burnings)
