Summary: Ema can't figure out why she keeps getting punished and forced to listen sutras after doing nothing wrong, or why the people of Khura'in suddenly are angry at her. Cultures clash, and family members intervene as she starts to realize what's really going on.

Author's note: In 6-3, when Ema complained about Nahyuta reading sutras to her, Rayfa was offended as it would be an honor to be read Nahyuta's sutras. So...Sutras aren't necessarily a punishment, but have some cultural significance beyond simply a "Divine Punishment" and everyone other than Ema is completely in awe at the thought of being on the receiving end of one from Nahyuta.
Also, this is OblivionIsAtHand's fault. Thanks to her for catching some errors along the way.
