fic: Beat The Parents
Apr. 26th, 2018 01:23 amTitle: Beat The Parents
Series: TF2
Character/pairing: Scout/Miss Pauling, Administrator/Saxton (and mentioned Saxton/Mags), ensemble, Spy/Scoutma, mentions of Heavy/Medic
Rating: PG-13
Word count: 10866
Summary: After finally getting together with Miss Pauling, Scout faces the toughest thing yet: meeting Miss Pauling's very unimpressed parents, who also happen to be his bosses, for Thanksgiving. But Scout isn't one to give up when it comes to her, even when dragged off to fight bears and forced into mechanical death dungeons.
Author's note: Yes, it's AU as Saxton hit on her in canon. I'm ignoring that scene because Saxton Hale as her father would be hilarious. The idea wouldn't leave me alone. Blame a scene in How I met your mother.
Post Expiration Date, but set before MVM and the TF comics. Canon-Typical violence, naturally.
For Sarah! I wanted to give it to you for Thanksgiving, but it's a little bit late. Like leftover turkey, or a rescheduled Thanksgiving because everyone had to work on the official date.
Looking at the calendar, it's more like Thanksgiving turkey which was put in the freezer and pulled out for a sandwich several months later.
