Day/Theme: October four/ wherever this may find you

Character/Pairing: Akiha, Umeda
Rating: an interesting niche between PG and PG-13
You never really forget dreams, or your first real love – Akiha knows this, with his mix of poetry and pragmatism, his cynical idealism notwithstanding, he remembers it well.
Akiha hadn’t understood at first the beating of his heart, how his breath caught and it felt like he was smothering an ocean of words just dying to be released. He latched himself to Senpai whenever possible, following him around like some lost puppy, much to Senpai’s chagrin.
Later he would, when Senpai was long gone away to far off places, a college unknown, lost in the crowds of other students, enough that Akiha could never make him out, no matter how many times he sat outside the nearby universities.
Akiha would sit back and just wait, watching each person walking by, looking for a familiar face wishing the distances would be just that much closer.
