Happy birthday, Nia ♥ (hers was the ninth, but I didn't get to write this up until now ;;) It's a bit short, I wanted to work on it a bit more, but my brain is in ADD-mode and not focusing on anything for more than five seconds at a time (seriously. In the past hour I've gone from FSTing to plotting out AMVs to working on fic epics to ficcing then back to plotting all over again.)
Title: nothin’ but a cliche
Day/Theme: September 12 / the inflexible, the irreconcilable, the stubborn
Series: HanaKimi
Character/Pairing: Akiha/Umeda
Rating: PG
Umeda isn’t in love. He isn’t even in like, and everytime he sees Akiha, half moron and half manipulator, (Innocuous? Sometimes he can’t tell) someone who’s firmly inserted himself into Umeda’s house AND life, clinging to him like a strangling vine or as if some magnetic force bound them and Akiha could only keep chasing him.
He certainly doesn’t care for Akiha, no matter how so called ‘handsome’ he is.
Something within him dies everytime Io remarks that she would be glad to have such a considerate, intelligent and devoted boyfriend. (but that was the normal response to any of Io’s remarks.)
He knows that Akiha is there to stay, and sometimes Umeda thinks he hates Akiha, just on the principle that he knew just what he needed all along.
