In the silence, the artist found his muse, he awakened and strove to write poetry – none matched the beauty in the framework of his mind – if marble would bend to his will then his house would be littered with statues and busts, – but marble had it’s qualms with him and he was unsuited for a poet’s life, so it was oil to canvass, the closest translation he could find to show this beautiful. With every translation there was a loss of meaning, but if the translator was talented enough, they could convey it through.
– because this person makes Helen of Troy look plain, because this person makes the sun set and rise, because there is nothing more to the world, no treasure or wonder that could outshine this person. Because the world spins on this person’s axis and because this person – no one seemed to understand just what he was trying to say, not the words but they caught the tone of it, with all its love inflections.
When asked about his paintings and this model, he laughed. “Oh, this is not a model. He would never model for me, he is much to fiery to be caught so easily” if pressed, why him he would smile, as if his soul was very far off, and say “It’s the chase that makes it worthwhile”
