First part: beautiful. I especially liked the simile comparing Oruha's words to birds (fitting considering Clover, ne?) One nitpick: "it’s wings ". It's = it is (contraction). Its = possessive form of "it."

I enjoyed your portrayal of Kurogane. He's smart enough to know his own feelings, but stubborn enough to try to avoid them.
