I love a lot of things. Watching the seasons slowly pass, the aftereffects left on nature, the leaves of fall or the newness of spring,taking long walks on the beach writing, thoughts, thinking.

moving on, I wasn't going to do "valentine fics", I was actually just fighting with my connection and uh, fic came about while I was waiting for a page to load. Yes, my connection is atrocious.

Kaworu is inviting, his skin the shape of oceans and water, burst of foam and sea salt. His arms are warm and layered with near-transparent hairs that the sun catches. His skin never tans, only burns
Kaworu smiles, knowing as Shinji inspects all the sum him, the beginning, the end, from chin to toe. He is most of all strange, he treats Shinji as an equal, is glad to see him, even for his presence or simply that he is alive. He is happy around Shinji, not condescending, not criticizing, blunt and unknowing, but ultimately, warm.
Kaworu is an enigma, seemingly too good to be true, Shinji sees his open hand, reaching for him and wonders where the thorn is hidden.
“Why don’t you stay with me?” Kaworu murmurs, and in that moment the oceans swirl, there is water on light, there is life.

Something has slipped away. True, there was little change, just an exchange of words, everything and nothing – His loyalty is the same, unwavering, not even death a great enough barrier to keep him from Ike. But the gravity, the martyrdom has faded into a life that seems so far away now.
He had long ago promised his life to Ike, words and actions thought through, and Ike accepted it, him, the words I’ll stay beside you sound less a finality, more a beginning.
