Rinoa is a gardener unknown. She reaches deep into Squall’s heart and doesn’t let go, her fingers sifting through the dry, cracked ground until it gives and releases.

She teases him and refuses to let him draw into his shell, confuses and amazes him. He doesn’t know her, but sometimes he thinks that maybe he’d like to.

She’s childish and half-grown, wistful and chaotic, somewhere along the way she exploded into his world and it’s never been the same since.

She is a gardener unbidden, without Squall ever knowing it she planted hope in his heart.
