Lmao, I've been so spoiled by those 300 word exchanges like Trick or Treat and Chocolate Box that I ran into a regular 1k one and just had an inward groan of "that sounds likes so much work.

...I say that as I finished 20k combined of fic last time, and am at work at another big treating fest. (Some of the fic was over 9k too, lol.)

This exact same thing happened to me. I was like femslashex, that's perfect, and then the word count got me lol so I didn't sign up. But there are requests for ATLA rarepairs I'm eyeing anyway.

I usually only write shorter pieces though, not long epics.

I haven't done a 300-worder in a while. 1,000 seems to be my sweet spot for that type of 'fic.

Oh, add another zero on it and it'll be closer to what I'm writing lol. For some reason it's just the idea of having to do 1k which feels exhausting, not the actual writing of it.
