My fandom_stocking is up right here. And of course just as I remember that, I realize I forget to put in my prompt pastebin and think of a bunch more prompts I could've used. Oh well, there's always next challenge.

... ! You didn't tell me you were into Corpse Party! That's one of my favorite series as of late! (I've slacked off on playing Blood Drive, but I'm a fair distance into it.) And, yeah, that's a pairing I support. :-)

Oh yeah! I watched a LP of it last year and spent a lot of time enjoying it. I enjoyed the manga scanslations even more for how the mangaka combined routes and added characterization. The mangaka also added as much Ayumi/Yoshiki as was humanly possible, so even though it's currently unfinished, I'd say it's worth a read just for the new scenes. The manga in question is Corpse Party: Blood Covered. I wouldn't advise you go into Corpse Party Musume. I went for "so bad it's good" and found it only "so bad it's horrible."

However, I forgot to copy my meta over here, and I haven't finished the few fics I was working on. It was just short manga stuff.

I like Naomi/Seiko as well, but that pair is a little too painful given how many times I've had to see Seiko die by now.

Oh yeah, I haven't finished anything but the translations of Blood Drive. I still have to watch Book of Shadows, actually. I was having a hard time finding a decent LP.

I actively avoid both the manga and the anime – especially the anime, which are terrible, IMO – in favor of playing the games.

And there is a Musume game that XSEED refuses to localize for a variety of reasons, the biggest being that the tone of the game, which is non-canon anyway, is completely out of step with the other titles in the series that they have already released. Fans keep bugging them about it (... because people are pretty hardcore about seeing Yoshiki in a wedding dress, I guess), but they put their foot down on it.

Book of Shadows is amazing, especially the 'what if' chapters, so I hope you get a chance to experience it. And I am ... ambivalent about Blood Drive thus far, but there is a lot to like about the game, too.

Anyway! Any time you want to discuss the series, please feel free. I have done a couple of short 'fics for it, but nothing too big as of yet.

Oh yeah, the anime was a poor adaptation, though Blood Covered had so many good scenes. (especially AyuShiki) There's another retelling manga coming up as well, though I'd rather just see to the end of Blood Covered. I actually prefer it in some areas because of dimensions it adds. Wasn't that one not Musume, but based on the parody manga? Sachiko's birthday one? I've seen walkthroughs of that, but ultimately it didn't seem that interesting to me.

Oh, no, drag away. :-) Like I said, I really like that pairing.

*thinks* Sachiko's birthday, yes, but I thought it still had Musume in the title somewhere. Either way, XSEED is not doing that one.

I may have said this before, but you've got good taste in Rune Factory pairings.
