This really caught my eye. I like it. It pretty much sums up the paragraph by expressing how intensely cold he is. Having him reach for a paper and drop it, or not be able to grasp it, would also probably work nicely.
He had a thought, a simple thought of reptiles and rocks the sun to heat cold blood.
This was just funny. Somebody needs to draw this.

If I didn't know Ike better, I'd suspect him of planning some way to get Aimee to see this, so she'd leave him alone. She wouldn't, probably, and Ike isn't big on strategic thinking, is he, unless we're talking about how widely he can swing a sword.
