Huh, well, to tread old ground: Greil was his teacher, correct? We don't know how old Zelgius is, only that he was close to moving on when Sephiran met him. Greil isn't that old, though, so... if we assume this all happened in Daein (which seems likely to me based on what Greil said during that fight about teaching him to be arrogant), it would've had to be before 626, so more than twenty years ago. But not too much more.

How he became the Black Knight and entered Ashnard's service is stickier, because Zelgius could have been trained any time, really, but once he did that he would have been in Sephiran's employ. I'd give it ten or fifteen years, myself, just because it seems more realistic. It doesn't matter, in the sense that nobody has that information and we can say what we want.

Can you imagine how busy he would be, making a name for himself in both countries? He probably didn't have time to pine lust chase after Greil.

I envision Altina as confident and strong enough to be the odd person out among her peers in every sense. By joining up with Lehran and Ashera, I see it as finding a place for herself where she can be comfortable. Ashera's heroes were probably all extraordinary in some way, or they wouldn't be hanging out with her, so to speak.

But-- she'd have to top from the bottom, because of those wings. If anybody can do it, though~!
