I maintain that this is all Becky's fault
So I finished all the manga I had of Ouran DDD: so I actually (for once in a century, I think) went fic hunting.
(And yes I did study, I'm taking a breather ;; because I, uh, memorize until I get migranes. Until I can repeat it forwards and backwards and in my sleep. Ahahha.)
Actually I just wanted to fling these in Becky's general direction with lots of flailing but then she had already gone to bed -- so I actually had to either keep in my enthusiam or do ACTUAL RECS. See, it's all her fault since these were meant to be aim!flung, rerecage is very good, yes? :D
This isn't the method I use to do recs, format wise, actually, I'm just too lazy to change it since it was meant for aim!flingage.

It manages to be so calm and show such a good view of Haruhi ♥ I really liked the soothing, detached feel and sparkled over the little Mori/Haruhi hints which didn’t go overboard and but just enough to be there, just like the series.

Ok, the writing seemed a bit stiff in the beginning, but it cleared up very soon, so it’s pretty much a nonissue – there was so many moments that were just too IC and giggle producing, every character was done spot on to a point which a lot of fic, even the really good fic can’t even hope to catch (actually, Ouran is hard to write because it’s so visual, but I digress) this is honestly the best portrayal of Ouran I have ever scene and probably ever will see, because yes, it was that good. I found myself breaking out in laughter every few minutes at just how well characterized it was and how, yes, they would totally do that. And the titles were made of win and awesome, yes. I am on cloud nine just from the utter awesomeness of this fic *glee*

there was this really lovely atmosphere here, something in imagery or the little details like Kyouya pointing out things about Tamaki or a deeper look at the Host Club that still retains the feel of the series, how such careful attention was paid to the characterization and the feel of it – really, it’s beautiful.

I’m officially Still On The Middle Of The Fence (tm) for this pairing, and I remember talking to Becky about it, so I tried this fic and frankly, I was glad that I had. The writing had a great flow and the characterization was downright sexy and perfect for Kyouya and for Haruhi, the details and imagery all fit in very well and the ending brings smiles to my face ♥

ok, the minute I saw this I knew it was going to be good and really wished Becky was here to fling and flail at her, because this is pure brilliance, full of genius and win and awesome and I can't keyboard mash enough to say how awesome it is. but she’s not so I have to actually put it here. Um. Anyways, the premise is brilliant and I can’t say just how awesome it is that Takamiya is there and can only flail and heartmark in glee because, dude, awesome the characterization is perfect and the dialog sparkles and I can't flail enough over each details just to say how awesome it is. Really.

So I was fic searching and came upon this piece and just broke down laughing because... oh god, this is so true and perfectly characterized and sparkly and witty and, with the twins building up more and more and really the last line is made of so much awesome. Seriously, totally made of win and awesome here. ♥
Randomly, and not related I love this AMV SUNRISE | Host Club | Mori/Haruhi the music choice is really good and the shots are well edited, it really fits seamlessly. There's some video-quality issues but that's to be expected at times when dealing with FS's
And this AMV Eyes On Me | Host Club | Mori/Haruhi was really, really well done. The soft wistfulness of the clips chosen and the way it would deviate and then flow into another scene was also quite lovely.
